Well, it's not completely done, but it's at the point where I was ready to show. Since this is a mixed media project, I'd like to add something a little more 3-D, but obviously you can't scan something 3-D. This is the main part of the project. This is the girth. There may just be some extras added later.
This. This is clearly a piece meant to be viewed in person. Collages were not meant to be looked at from across the net. But, considering the net is one of my bigger audiences, I did the best I could to show you this piece of mine.
THIS IS NOT AS EASY AS YOU MAY THINK. o_o In fact, it was quite difficult. They do not make the perfect J-rocker skin colour in magazines. Yes, 'tis Hyde, and if I did this right, you knew that before I told you. I've never done this before, but I thought that it would be a cool twist on a J-rock portrait to add to my collection. Or at least a nice tribute to Hyde. Beside those three new fans I got him the day.
By the way, those words you see in the background are all lyrics from L'Arc En Ciel songs. Some are in original kanji, some are in romanized Japanese, and some are English translations.
It's nice to have something a little different every so often, isn't it?
The original of this piece has been sold, but prints are still available. Note me if interested!
Time Elapsed: 12 hours

Oh wow...I don't think I know who it is you're talking about so I can't say whether it looks like them or not. But it look like a person! Which is more than I could say mine would look like if I made one.
Well done! I love it....it really isn't that easy is it? But it looks good...and I love the way you made the background more interesting. The pose is nice as well.
Amazing collage - I haven't seen anything like it from you! So, it's a pleasant change. Absolutely great how you were able to manage the skintone! The best thing, in my mind however, is the background. It's so interesting! Great work!
Thanks! ^_^ It was a project for school, so I probably wouldn't normally have done it, but it was a good opportunity. I'm glad it came out the way it did!

"Wow this piece was so thoughtfuly thought out and creative!! Using the lyrics as a background was remarkable! This collage is wonderful, and his skin looks awesome, how the pieces combined look as if shaded together perfectly like a painting!!"
Very cool, what great idea, you must be so patient that sort of work takes so long! I have to say it looks awesome too, it really looks like him. Yet another amazing masterpiece!
